Food and drink

The bunkroom has a large dining table if you're self-catering using our kitchen facilities. 

The village post office stores stocks fresh and packaged food and drinks. They're usually open until 4pm on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and also on Saturday morning. You can phone them on 01434 381257 to enquire about placing a grocery order for collection outside opening hours. 

Our village pub, the George & Dragon, is currently undergoing a major makeover with a view to reopening in 2024. There are pubs, cafes and restaurants in Alston four miles away.
