Garrigill Village Hall - warm, light and welcoming - enhances village life with the perfect environment for meeting, interacting and strengthening community ties. From hosting live bands, parties and theatre to film club and supper evenings, the Hall plays host to a multitude of events and is available for private hire, overnight stays and daytime use. We also offer bunkroom and camping facilities as well as free wifi.

Our facilities.....

You can hire the Hall for meetings, community and social events and overnight stays. Included is the shared use of the kitchen and other facilities, plus free wifi. Licensed for most forms of public entertainment and the sale of alcohol, if you'd like a licensed bar for your event, please enquire.

The main hall seats up to 80 people  theatre-style. Four and eight-person tables to seat around 50 people are included in the hire. For overnight stays in the hall, there's 12 camp beds for hire.

1-6 hour session: £15 per hour

7-24 hour session: £200

Exclusive use to include bunkhouse and camping field (24 hour period): £400

Fully stocked and staffed licensed bar: £12 per hour in addition to hire charge.


Discounts may be available for community group and charitable events.  Please email the bookings secretary for details.


Our kitchen provides you with all you need including a large range cooker, commercial glass washer, microwave, fridge as well as crockery and utensils.  We've also a drying room for all those wet togs and a two-cubicle shower room with extra WC and wash basin facilities. Our 24/7 public toilets off the Hall lobby have wheelchair-accessible and baby changing facilities.

To book the hall, just contact the bookings secretary.  We ask for payment at time of booking. Booking Conditions apply - please read them along with our Village Hall User Guide to help make your booking enjoyable and trouble free.....and if you're organising an event involving more than 30 people, our Fire Precautions for Events Guide is a must.
